We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager in Risk Management to lead and deliver comprehensive risk frameworks across our organisation. Based in Hong Kong, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the achievement of organisational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and internal control systems. You will provide leadership in the development and execution of risk policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and business requirements. This includes conducting risk assessments, overseeing the risk reporting process, and embedding a strong risk culture throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and risk appetite frameworks.
- Advise senior management on emerging risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead the annual risk assessment process and support business units in identifying operational, financial, strategic, and reputational risks.
- Coordinate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure integrated assurance processes.
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports for executive management and relevant regulatory authorities.
- Liaise with external consultants and regulators as needed during examinations and reviews.
- Support the development and delivery of risk awareness training programmes across the organisation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; professional certifications such as FRM, PRM or CPA are desirable.
- At least 8–10 years of relevant experience in risk management, preferably within a consulting, financial services or regulatory environment.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment techniques, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance principles.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and a proactive approach to risk identification and resolution.
This is a full-time position located in Hong Kong, offering a competitive benefits package.
