We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Development Representative to join our team in the financial services sector, based in Hong Kong Island. This role is focused on the buy-side segment, and is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about sales and lead generation within a fast-paced and dynamic industry.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for initiating contact with targeted prospects to generate qualified leads. This will involve employing a multi-channel outreach strategy, including personalised emails, cold calling, direct mail, and social media engagement to build relationships with potential clients.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in a sales or lead generation role, with at least 1+ years of experience. You must be comfortable working with senior professionals in the financial industry and demonstrate the ability to handle objections and communicate the value proposition effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate contact with targeted prospects through personalised outreach including emails, cold calls, direct mail, and social media channels.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities to deliver high-quality leads to the Sales team.
- Achieve or exceed goals for sales qualified leads (SQLs) and sales accepted leads (SALs) in both quantity and quality.
- Work closely with Sales to ensure proper handoff and follow-up of leads.
- Conduct research on prospects to understand their business needs and tailor outreach accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and activity reports using CRM tools.
- Continuously improve outreach strategies through feedback and performance analysis.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a lead-generating or sales role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM software and sales outreach tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of the buy-side of the financial services industry is a plus.
