Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven APP Product Manager to lead product development, optimisation, and innovation for their mobile banking platform. This role will involve managing the full product lifecycle, from concept to release, and aligning functionality with user needs and strategic business goals within the financial technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full product lifecycle for the mobile banking APP, including features related to account management, smart advisory services, and cross-border payments.
- Develop the annual product roadmap, ensuring alignment with user demand, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
- Implement systems to analyse user behaviour (e.g., in-app touch point monitoring, NPS surveys) and extract actionable insights for functional optimisation.
- Design and execute A/B testing models by analysing transaction data using SQL or Python to enhance conversion and retention rates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, QA, compliance teams (e.g., KYC/AML), and external partners to ensure delivery of projects on schedule and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Drive user acquisition and retention strategies through initiatives such as check-in rewards and social media referrals, enhancing DAU/MAU.
- Integrate financial products (e.g., credit card instalment, wealth management) to enhance revenue models while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Spearhead the development of AI-driven functionalities (e.g., intelligent customer service, automated anti-fraud), and study emerging trends in generative AI applications within financial services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Finance, Information Management, or related fields.
- 3–5 years’ experience in APP product management within banking or fintech industries, with proven track record of delivering features such as payments or wealth management modules.
- Proficiency in Axure, Sketch or Figma, and fundamental data analysis skills using SQL or Python.
- Sound understanding of compliance requirements from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority for E-Banking applications.
- Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to create and manage documentation in both languages.
- Strong grasp of current fintech trends such as Open Banking, tokenisation of real-world assets (RWA), and other relevant innovations.
- Prior experience in leading data analytics initiatives is advantageous.
- Familiarity with commercial operation models of Hong Kong banking APPs is preferred.
