We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Handler specialising in Casualty claim. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a claims professional to manage a varied and complex caseload while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient claims processing in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of casualty claims from initial notification to settlement.
- Provide timely and accurate advice and updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and their representatives within authority levels.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal and external procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external experts to resolve claims effectively.
- Contribute to departmental training, audits, and reporting tasks where required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in handling casualty or liability insurance claims.
- Understanding of Hong Kong insurance market and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and claims management systems.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., ACII or ANZIIF) are advantageous but not essential.
