We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our client's dynamic team based in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. You will provide critical insights and guidance on all financial matters, helping to streamline processes and ensure that the financial health of the organisation is maintained. Close collaboration with various departments will also be essential to support overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial projections and recommendations to management.
- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and implement financial controls.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and liaise with auditors and regulators when necessary.
- Recommend improvements to financial policies and procedures.
- Support strategic planning through data analysis and financial modelling.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within a corporate or commercial environment.
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong financial regulations and taxation.
- Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and concisely.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous.
