We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Agency Business Development to drive growth and cultivate strong partnerships within the agency sector. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who can identify new opportunities, lead high-impact business initiatives, and foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Based in Hong Kong, the role offers the chance to contribute to a rapidly evolving business landscape in one of Asia’s most vibrant markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and executing an agency-focused business development strategy, identifying partnership opportunities, and working cross-functionally to deliver customised solutions for clients. You will collaborate with internal marketing, sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing optimisation of agency partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to grow agency partnerships and revenue.
- Identify potential agency partners, build relationships, and negotiate agreements that align with business goals.
- Analysing market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to tailor offerings that meet client needs and objectives.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities and forecast agency-related revenue growth.
- Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as a key point of contact for agency partners and manage overall relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in business development, with a strong focus on agency partnerships or client relationship management.
- Proven track record of successful business growth and partnership development within the advertising, media, or digital sectors.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities, with the capability to develop actionable insights from market and performance data.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment, preferably within the Asia-Pacific region.
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage multiple priorities, and deliver measurable results.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous.
