The ideal candidate will have prior experience in finance operations, with a strong grasp of financial systems, controls, and reporting. Responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and expenses, assisting in monthly reconciliation and reporting, maintaining accurate financial records, and liaising with internal departments to support operational efficiency. The role also requires monitoring fund movements, preparing cash flow forecasts, and supporting regulatory reporting requirements when necessary.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a finance operations or back-office role.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Understanding of internal controls and compliance within a financial or operational context.
