We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Operations Senior Officer to join our client's operations team in Hong Kong. This role is integral to maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions and operational processes. You will play a key role in monitoring day-to-day finance operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting process improvements within the finance function.
Success in this role requires a solid understanding of financial processes, excellent analytical skills, and strong attention to detail. You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced operations environment and demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth finance operations
- Support audit processes by preparing relevant documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and local financial regulations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance operations or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with financial systems and accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage
