We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Project Assistant Manager to join our client's dynamic team in Hong Kong. This role is ideal for professionals with a finance background who are passionate about driving strategic initiatives, managing project timelines, and delivering measurable business value within a finance environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project planning and execution, ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards, are aligned with business objectives, and are delivered within the agreed timeframe. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and IT to support project implementation and change management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and coordinating finance-related projects from conception to completion.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor and report on project progress, timelines, and performance metrics.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support project decision-making.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements.
- Support post-implementation reviews and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance or project management, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
- Solid understanding of financial principles and project management methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative and accountability.
