This is a key role supporting the High Net Worth (HNW) Distribution team in Hong Kong, working closely with internal teams and offshore partners. The successful candidate will play a critical part in wealth structuring, business development, and client relationship management with a focus on operational excellence. This role collaborates across jurisdictions and functions, supporting client onboarding, training, market research, and strategic partnership development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational aspects of key HNW and Ultra HNW relationships.
  • Support business development managers in initiating and growing HNW business opportunities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in wealth structuring, including trust, PIC, and corporate structuring.
  • Drive learning, development, and training initiatives in HNW sales and structuring.
  • Collaborate across business units to develop and implement HNW strategies and initiatives.
  • Support HNW onboarding and new business processes.
  • Develop partnerships with brokers, banks, private wealth advisers, and structuring firms.
  • Analyse and track HNW market and competitor information to support strategic decisions.
  • Launch new initiatives and manage risks and compliance on HNW matters, including double taxation agreements.
  • Work with Legal and Compliance teams to identify positive but controlled solutions to business needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HNW / Ultra HNW sales and wealth structuring.
  • University degree (BA or BSc).
  • Expertise in HNW case management and operational support.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and win HNW bank relationships.
  • Experience in training and developing HNW agency sales professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, legal and risk frameworks applicable to HNW business.
  • Relevant insurance qualifications and demonstrated industry competencies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Confidence, maturity, and professionalism in handling high-stakes client and internal interactions.
  • Proactive mindset with ability to anticipate business needs and offer innovative solutions.
  • A service-driven approach with a dedication to exceeding expectations in quality and timelines.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to propose and implement new concepts and strategies.
