Our client is seeking a forward-thinking Innovation Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. This pivotal role will focus on designing and delivering transformative digital strategies and business solutions that elevate operational efficiency and customer experiences within the financial services sector.
The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop a best-in-class business architecture for the bank. Staying at the forefront of digital banking and fintech trends, you will evaluate and implement technologies such as RPA, APIs, and Agentic Workflow to streamline and automate business processes. You will lead digital transformation initiatives, manage product development lifecycles, and facilitate cross-departmental alignment with strategic objectives.
You will be expected to contribute to the planning and coordination of departmental processes and improve operational efficiencies through innovation. In this role, strong project management, strategic planning, and the ability to translate business strategies into actionable initiatives are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to build optimal business architecture and workflow solutions in the banking sector.
- Monitor latest technologies and best practices to drive cost-effective and efficient process innovations.
- Deliver intelligent workflows using RPA, APIs, and Agentic Workflows.
- Lead end-to-end digital transformation and innovation projects.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define business strategies and translate them into implementable initiatives.
- Support planning of administrative systems and process improvements.
- Manage schedules aligned with strategic goals for business and product development.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, product development, digital marketing, or digital transformation, preferably in banking or fintech.
- University degree in Information Technology or related field. Applicants with business degrees and solid IT project experience will also be considered.
- Proficient in stakeholder engagement, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge in design-led thinking, lean, and agile methodologies is an asset.
- Possession of at least one professional qualification under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (e.g., CISSP, CRISC, TOGAF) is advantageous.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., Agile, Scrum Master) are preferred.
- Demonstrated business knowledge and user experience in banking are highly desirable.
- Strong background in innovation projects within digital transformation or marketing. Experience in leading fintech or medium-to-large scale projects is a plus.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
