About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Marketing Data Analyst to join their growing team in Hong Kong. This role is central to optimising their marketing strategies through data insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing campaign performance, tracking key performance indicators, and collaborating cross-functionally to turn data into actionable decisions.

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will work across various marketing channels including online, social media, email, and advertising platforms. Your role demands a deep understanding of analytical tools and the ability to derive insights from complex data sets. You will aid in shaping future marketing initiatives by identifying user behaviour patterns and converting data into strategic decisions that impact growth.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse marketing campaign performance across channels such as social media, email, and digital advertising.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics including user acquisition cost, conversion rates, customer lifetime value, and ROI.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to visualise marketing data and drive strategic decisions from a business perspective.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and other analytical experiments to measure and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in user behaviour to support targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure data integrity and accessibility across platforms.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, latest analytics tools, and innovative marketing techniques.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing analytics, with a minimum of 2 years in the cryptocurrency or fintech industry.
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experienced with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and statistical significance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms.
  • Understanding of tracking code setup and digital advertising analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with data mining and machine learning applications.
