We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join a leading life insurer based in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex projects across business and IT functions, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and delivery across the full project lifecycle.
You will be required to coordinate across multiple departments, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to management, and providing effective oversight throughout the project duration. Full project lifecycle experience is essential, although a candidate with a lighter execution-heavy background is welcome—as the emphasis is on leadership and coordination rather than deep delivery execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams of 10–20 members
- Drive project planning, governance and delivery from initiation to completion
- Manage stakeholder engagement across IT and business units
- Oversee risk and issue management, process design, and performance tracking
- Provide clear, concise, and impactful management reporting
- Consolidate inputs from various workstreams to drive decision-making
Requirements:
- 8–10 years of project management experience
- Experience in insurance or banking industries preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills at project level
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage teams independently and coordinate with multiple parties
- Background in consultancy is advantageous
- Experience working with Prudential, Sun Life, FWD, or Manulife is a plus
