We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Bancassurance Sales professional to lead our client's strategic partnership. This is a key leadership role based in Hong Kong, where you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the bancassurance channel to drive life and general insurance product sales through bank branch networks.

The successful candidate will act as the main liaison for the bancassurance relationship, taking ownership of the end-to-end sales strategy and execution. You will be expected to collaborate closely with bank stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, service delivery, and achievement of mutual targets. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance operations, regulatory requirements, customer experience, and channel development within a bancassurance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of the bancassurance partnership with the bank, ensuring business objectives are met.
  • Drive sales growth of insurance products through the bank's network by implementing effective sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with bank stakeholders at all levels to support product uptake and channel effectiveness.
  • Manage sales performance, provide coaching and training to bank staff, and monitor KPIs and sales metrics to ensure optimal results.
  • Collaborate with marketing, underwriting, and operations teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with local insurance and banking regulations and internal risk management policies.
  • Develop business plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on channel performance and opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance or financial planning preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in bancassurance sales or financial services, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of managing bank partnerships and delivering business growth through sales channel management.
  • Strong understanding of life and general insurance products, financial advisory models, and customer needs within the banking sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organisational abilities.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous.
