We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Officer to join our client's dynamic team in Hong Kong. This role is critical in driving strategic growth and expanding market presence within the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and implementing growth strategies that align with company objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with an in-depth understanding of business development processes and market trends. You must be proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business strategies.
  • Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or sales within the relevant industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Highly strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous.
